ORMOND Civil has constructed the shoring walls at Granville next to the railway line. This project features 5 basements requiring 500 temporary anchors and over 4,000m2 of shotcreting works, detailed excavation of the shoring wall, capping beamand De-watering. The scale of this job truly tests ORMOND Civil’s ability to maintain productivity and quality within our works.
ORMOND Civil has completed the Supply and Installation of Temporary Anchors and Shotcreting at Macquarie Park. Ormond Civil’s full time site engineers ensured daily ITP, QA and Stressing records were maintained.
ORMOND Civil was responsible for installation of up to 500kN Hollow Bar Anchors and Waler Beams spanning across the entire shoring wall. ORMOND Civil could utilise the design of the Hollow Bar Anchors in the contaminated soil comprising of silty sand to provide the most cost effective solution.
Ormond Civil was contracted to undertake both Shotcrete and Anchoring in the Blue Mountains. The gun finish option selected by the client was a more economical choice compared to a float finish shotcrete wall.
ORMOND Civil was awarded the Coring & Anchor Destressing Work for the new railway line running through Castle Hill Station.
