Scope: CFA Piling
The project was a part of the NSW Government’s Commuter Car Park Program, providing more convenient access to public transport at key
interchanges and helping to ease congestion on roads. Ormond Civil was engaged to undertake the Drilling & Installation of 750mm Diameter CFA piles along with Pile Integrity Testing, for a 750-space commuter car park at Emu Plains.
Ormond Civil worked closely with Stephen Edwards Constructions to undertake the planning, design, procurement, supply, construction & testing of the Piles. CFA Piling was undertaken as per Roads & Maritime Services (RMS) New South Wales requirements, for drilling into the loose & unstable silty sand & gravelly sand.
