Gundaroo Bridge, NSW

Client: Yass Valley Council
Scope: Foundation Piles, Abutments, Wing Walls, Deck & Approach Slabs

The purpose of this project was to construct a new bridge accessway
for the expanding population of Yass Valley.

A development of 10 residential blocks was completed immediately to the north of Gundaroo and positioned around an existing earth fill dam. However, the site was only accessible from a shared unsealed driveway. The new bridge/culvert allowed for double lane car access for residents along with a pedestrian walkway to connect the southern to the northern subdivision areas. Ormond Civil constructed 8 Quantity of 950mm Diameter Foundation Piles, 2 x 10.5m long Abutments, Wing walls, Approach Slab, along with Supply & Install of 150m3 of concrete for the main deck.
